Out in the world

Little old lady sitting in the airport next to AG early in the morning , coming to Kaal Koota .AG is more worried than she is because she cannot speak English . So the old softie takes her under his wing and she is relieved to find he is on 21 D and she is on 20 D. She demands to see his boarding pass to satisfy herself that she is indeed on the same flight that he is on. She is from Turin - hitting 70 and taking the world with her.Travelling from Delhi to Kolkata , then Bishnupur, Santiniketan( M are you listening?)Puri and then Mumbai and Goa. Why Bishnupur and Santiniketan? For the temples and Tagore.

All this with minimal English , a book on India and her passport which she keeps taking out so often that AG gets jittery she'll lose it . And then its the luggage tag on the boarding pass which keeps her occupied so that AG gets jittery yet again.

She reminds AG of his mom maybe . Brave and batty with a yen to conquer the world on her own and the style and savvy to do it too.

Cheers Auntie!

I so admire their spirit. And I think they know they'd find some kind soul like AG wherever they go.

Hope to be as feisty at that age.

@all - I salute her spirit of adventure. If my mom in law were left loose she could do the same, only we kind of hold her back
